We stand behind our products. If the Software does not perform as described, we offer a 30-day money-back guarantee.

1. Eligibility

A refund may be requested within 30 calendar days of the original purchase date if:

  • The Software does not perform substantially as described in the documentation
  • A critical bug prevents the Software from functioning on a supported AIX version (7.1, 7.2, or 7.3)
  • Technical support was unable to resolve the issue within 5 business days

2. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be granted in the following cases:

  • The request is made more than 30 days after purchase
  • The Software functions as described but does not meet your expectations
  • Incompatibility with unsupported platforms (e.g., Linux, AIX 6.1)
  • Issues caused by modifications to the Software by the Customer
  • Failure to follow the installation instructions provided in the documentation
  • Maintenance renewal fees (non-refundable)

3. How to Request a Refund

Send an email to support@aixwatch.com with the following information:

  1. Order number (from your order confirmation email)
  2. LPAR hostname(s) on which the Software was installed
  3. AIX version (output of oslevel -s)
  4. Description of the issue — what is not working as expected
  5. Troubleshooting steps already attempted
  6. Relevant logs or error messages (if available)

4. Review Process

  • We will acknowledge your request within 1 business day
  • Our technical team will review your case and may request additional information
  • We may attempt to resolve the issue before processing a refund
  • A decision will be communicated within 5 business days

5. Refund Processing

  • Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method
  • Refunds are processed within 10 business days of approval
  • The full purchase amount (excluding any applicable transaction fees) will be refunded
  • VAT paid will be refunded in accordance with Cyprus tax law

6. Post-Refund Obligations

Upon receiving a refund, you must:

  • Uninstall the Software from all LPARs: installp -u aix-exporter.rte or installp -u loki-agent.rte
  • Delete all copies of the BFF packages
  • Confirm uninstallation by email

Failure to uninstall the Software after a refund constitutes a breach of the License Agreement.

7. Bundle Refunds

If you purchased the AIX Monitoring Bundle:

  • You may request a full refund of the entire bundle
  • Partial refunds (one product only) are not available for bundle purchases
  • Both products must be uninstalled upon refund

8. EU Consumer Rights

EU consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal for digital content purchases, provided the download has not been initiated. By downloading the Software, you consent to waive this right in accordance with Directive 2011/83/EU, Article 16(m). This 30-day refund policy provides additional protection beyond the statutory minimum.
